The musical adaptation of 'Back to the Future' has announced its final Broadway performance will take place on March 17, 2024, after a run of nearly 400 performances at the Winter Garden Theatre. The production, which opened in August 2022 and earned a Tony Award nomination for Best New Musical, will then make its way to Germany for its next theatrical venture.

Despite garnering positive reviews and becoming a fan favorite, the show has faced challenging box office numbers in recent months.The production, which cost approximately $24 million to mount, will close before recouping its initial investment on Broadway.However, the show's producers remain optimistic about its future international prospects.

The musical, based on the beloved 1985 film starring Michael J.Fox, features original music alongside iconic songs from the movie, including 'The Power of Love.'
