Time and Tide Sets Sail Near Madison Square Park

Manhattan's NoMad neighborhood welcomes its newest culinary destination as Time and Tide opens its doors just steps from the historic Madison Square Park. The seafood-focused restaurant brings a fresh catch to the bustling district, combining coastal cuisine with urban sophistication.

Helmed by acclaimed chef Sarah Martinez, formerly of Le Bernardin, Time and Tide occupies a stunning 3,000-square-foot space at 22 West 24th Street. The restaurant's interior echoes its maritime theme with weathered brass fixtures, deep blue banquettes, and hand-painted murals depicting ocean scenes.

The menu showcases sustainable seafood sourced from both local waters and international coastlines. Signature dishes include:

East Coast oysters with champagne mignonette
Maine lobster with drawn butter and preserved lemon
Whole roasted branzino with Mediterranean herbs
House-made squid ink pasta with uni butter

The restaurant also features a raw bar and a carefully curated wine list specializing in coastal regions. A weekend brunch service is slated to begin next month, adding to the neighborhood's already vibrant dining scene.
